The map at the top should help you get where you're going, but there are a couple things to keep in mind when you get there:
-
1. You can park anywhere in the lot. So if you feel like parking right at the entrance and then walking a mile to Baldoria (to prepare for the 8 cupcakes you're about to smash) then you do you.
-
2. The building is tucked away in the Northwest corner of the lot, just to the Northwest of the Old Chicago/Tokyo Joes' complex.
-
If you are entering from West 1st Avenue (by way of Union Blvd), then as you drive up West 1st you'll see a Wells Fargo bank directly in front of you, and to your right you'll see an Old Chicago along with a Tokyo Joe's and a Chipotle. Continue heading forward past the entrance to the restaurant parking lot, and then take one of the next three entrances into Baldoria's parking lot.
-
Again, Baldoria is just to the Northwest of the Old Chicago. If you've gone too far, then you'll suddenly be heading around the back of the Wells Fargo building.
-
Memorize the picture to the right, or use the Google Map above to scope things out from different angles. It's kind of an unassuming building (at least, from the outside!) and if you didn't know exactly what you were looking for you might pass right by it, all while wondering just where in the bloody hell Baldoria actually is. Which, in case you couldn't tell, we've actually done. On the other hand, Jen and I have a tendency to get lost together. We call them "adventures." How often do we find ourselves having an adventure? Well, let's just say we have a Costco container of protein bars in the car, just in case.
-
There's no sign out front, so your best bet is to just drive on by the Old Chicago (keep it on your right, as you angle Northwest through the lot) and look for the entryway bordered by columns—that's where you're headed!
